Atlantis Dive Joins Scubaworld.tv DCD

We would to welcome Atlantis Dive on Alona Beach in Bohol to our Dive Centre Database, who have become our first dive centre from the Bohol area in the Philippines. Atlantis Dive are located in Alona Beach, the major destination for scuba divers in Bohol, and one of the most popular dive destinations in the Philippines.

The scuba diving in Bohol is undeniably world class, offering a huge variety of dives, and some opportunities to see the real giants of the ocean. For fans of diving with sharks, the dive site at Hammerhead Point on Calibao Islands provides divers with one of the few opportunities to dive with large shoals of hammerhead sharks which can be seen here from December through to June.

For people looking to dive with Manta Rays, the diving at Pamilican Island (Resting Place of the Manta's) provides an excellent opportunity to dive with the giant manta rays which inhabit the reefs here. Diving with the large manta here is arguably one of the most impressive sights in diving, and without makes the longer trip out here worthwhile.

As well as the two 'big fish' dive sites, there are a number of other excellent dive sites scattered throughout the waters surrounding the island of Bohol. In particular, the dive sites in Panglao Island and Balicasag Island provide superb diving consistently, and offer a huge variety of marine and coral life.
