Phuket Scuba Diving

The beautiful island of Phuket, is located on the west coast of Thailand, on the eastern edge of the Andaman Sea, and is arguably one of Thailands most popular scuba diving destinations. Every year, large numbers of scuba divers travel to this island, to sample some of the best dive sites in Thailand, including the Racha Islands, Krabi and the Phi Phi islands and the dive sites around Phang-Nga Bay. For those willing to travel slightly further, the rewards are even greater, and liveaboards in Phuket regularly travel to some of the worlds best diving including sites at the Burma Banks, the Mergui Archipelago and the stunning Similan Islands.

There are a large number of dive centres in Phuket, who are experienced and well equipped, and Phuket is a classic example of multiple operators ensuring that the overall standard of dive centre is a high one.
The dive sites in Phuket tend to offer something for everyone, from the complete novice, through to the most experienced of scuba divers. From stunning coral gardens, through to wall, pinnacles and wrecks, Phuket caters for all levels of scuba diving experience.
Diving is available in Phuket all year round, however it can get busy during peak season. As such, if you have decided to go on a scuba diving holiday in Phuket, it is probably worthwhile contacting a dive centre before you to go to check on availability and prices etc.
